Start from Dar es Salaam by 9:00 am Speed Boat to Zanzibar, which arrives Zanzibar at 11:15am. Pick up by our driver guide and transfer to your hotel. Refresh and then proceed for a tour to Prison Island.
The Island is a home for beautiful birds like peacocks and the enormous giant tortoises some of which are over a 100 years old age. Sultan Said brought these tortoises from Seychelles in the 1820’s. The island is also an ideal place for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing on a white sandy beach.
After spending time there, return back to the mainland for Lunch.
After Lunch Proceed for the Stone Town Tour
Drive to Slave Market
Drives to Aga Khan Stone town Conservation Building
Drive to Sultan Palace and to Beit el Ajaib Museum.
Walk to Old Portuguese /Arab Fort
Drives to Africa House – Tippu Tip Slave Trader House
If time permits, shopping at the narrow streets of Zanzibar stone town.
Return back to the hotel by late in the evening,
Overnight stay at the Hotel in stone town.
Early morning by 06:00am, pick up by our driver & drive towards Kizimkazi village at the southern tip, formerly the capital of Zanzibar. We board our motorized boat and head out for our dolphin viewing and with good luck we will swim with them; you will spend about 2 hours here.
Later you are back on the shore at Kizimkazi and drive towards Jozani Forest which is only 20 minutes drive.
Jozani Forest the only remaining rain forest in Zanzibar, here you will walk in the tropical part of the forest to large red mahogany trees. Jozani is particularly known for it’s rare monkeys- the Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys, you will see them up close as well as walking into the mangroves board walk.
Transfer back to your hotel
After Lunch, Check out from the hotel, & transfer to the Beach resort.
Rest of the day free for your own activity,
Dinner & overnight at the Beach resort
Later in the afternoon, pick up by our driver & transfer to the airport as per your flight scheduled to Dar.
