Visit the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, where Tutankhamun’s tomb was unearthed, and see the glittering finds in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Hop off a Nile boat to visit Dendara, Edfu or one of the other waterside temples, cross Lake Nasser to see Ramses II’s masterpiece at Abu Simbel, or trek into the desert to find the traces of Roman trading outposts.

Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Arrive at the Cairo International airport, pick up by our driver, transfer to your hotel for Overnight stay.

 
Day 2: Giza, Saqqarah & Memphis
After Breakfast. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.

Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

Visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser.

Thereafter drive to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a centre of rule and culture for over3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II. On your way to the south you will visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur

Day 3: Museum, Coptic Cairo, City Tour
After Breakfast, proceed for the visit to the Egyptian Museum, which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period.

The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artefacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewellery which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Then proceed to visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and Citadel of Salah El Din. Head to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and Synagogue. Back to your hotel.

(Optional) Evening trip to enjoy your dinner on board a Nile cruise for 2 hours including watching Egyptian folk shows.

Day 3: Luxor Temple & Karnak Temple
Early Morning flight to Luxor, pick up from the airport, Drive to the east bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco – Roman Kingdom.

Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years.

Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.

Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Luxor.

 
Day 4: Valley of The Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshipsut,
Pick up from your hotel & proceed to discover the West bank of Luxor. First, visit Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are King Thutmosis I, Thutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramessess VI, King Mrenptah and Amenhotep II.

Then Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshipsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490–1469 B.C). the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

Later transfer to airport to get the late evening flight to Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria
After Breakfast, pick up by our guide, drive towards Alexandria. It’s about 3 hours’ journey.

First visit the insides of the Catacombs of Komde El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.

Then visit the Roman Amphitheatre of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbour of Alexandria. You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar; it was constructed in honour of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.

Next stop is the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books.

Stop for lunch at a modern Fish Restaurant for a famous and traditional Alexandrian food.

Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse; one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continue your tour by visiting the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Visit the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish (30 km) to see the whole city of Alexandria from the sea side which includes the old harbour of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater.

Stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria,
